I wasn’t sure what my destiny would be when I revived Engage Movement. 

I was coming off one of the lowest moments of my life professionally where I had just been fired from a role I thought I would be in forever.

Little did I know, that would be the greatest “life happening for me” moment in my journey.

In January of 2022, I was coming off a 3 month hiatus letting my nervous system return from a constant 10 to about a 2. I was taking long walks on the beach (really), hitting the gym consistently, I had even started reading again… but what I was really searching for was my next mission.

I had a couple ideas of what I would do in this next chapter… 

Would I start working with clients in more of a rehab coach capacity online again? Would I do business operations for someone else like I was at my last role? Would I build a consulting business of my own?

These were the options… So I made a little experiment, let me test each out for 3 months and see what pulls me back in. I took on 5 1:1 programming clients and quickly realized this wasn’t the passionate direction anymore, so after getting them their result, I stopped making those offers.

I had reached out to another consulting company in the PT space and pitched them my model (I even created some education for them and went to their live event), but they didn’t want to fix what wasn’t broke for them, and I really only wanted to join if I was able to have a seat at the table (this is where boundaries and knowing what you want is important - that was discovered on my 3 month hiatus).

So that left me to ramp up my own coaching and consulting company. 

Once this launched with a fairly soft pitch - if you’re a coach or rehab pro looking to diversify your in-person offer and add an online component, I want to help you… I had a few takers.

First it was all 1:1. Then I created a course. Then I figured out how to bundle everything into a true outcome. And when I broke 6 figures my first year, I was honestly kind of shocked… 

Part of the reason I had overstayed my welcome at my previous role was because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to replace my income… scarcity based thinking gets the best of us from time to time… Little did I know that was the thing holding me back.

2023, the company doubles. 2024 we grow by 50%..

And in November of 2025, we pass $1,000,000 dollars of hard earned money in gross all time revenue.

I’m stuck in this moment where it feels surreal. On one hand, when you compare (which you shouldn’t but it’s natural) - it doesn’t seem like a lot… But on the other hand… Holy Shit, it’s a Million Dollars… (I prefer the latter mindset).

What’s really crazy though, is that it seems like we are just getting started…

While everyone else is chasing volume to grow, I’m on a search for efficiency.

I’ve been a part of teams with heavy push energy. I’ve missed family and friend’s events because of work. I’ve worked for a month+ straight with no days off to build someone else's vision. Those days are behind me.

It definitely didn’t happen overnight. It didn’t happen without taking a huge risk on myself. And it also didn’t happen without moments of feeling like a complete idiot (luckily I never did the dancing trends on TikTok…)

So I send this newsletter off with an immense Thank You.
